this latest episode was a bullseye for me, because I tried many things but nothing could tie me down for a longer period, I was always alternating between these “hobbies” and while I did this time flied and I worried more and more with each passing day that I may be too late to make something creative for a living.
I’m just past 43 I’m learning lettering and calligraphy now, and it seems that I’ve finally found my ground. I try to learn every day, but beside my day job it’s pretty hard to keep up and that clock is still ticking...so it was a blast for me to hear your stories :)
In fact this was the very first episode that I was listening to. I’ve learned about this show over at Ian’s insagram feed and it was totally worth it to listen in :)
Thank you for raising my hopes!

I’m 46 years old, self taught graphic designer. Started about 2 years ago with an analog illustration project. Now practicing my Adobe skills and picking up freelance. Love the show!
